My shoes: Vince Camuto, sold out.
Our photographer includes a post wedding shoot a couple weeks after you get married, which is so nice. We were able to take the pictures without the stress of the actual wedding day and all the details that surround it, hanging over us. The weather was great, also the time of day was perfect for lighting. I was nervous about my hair turning out okay, anyone with curly hair knows what I mean. No two days are the same, and you can have a bomb hair day, style it the exact same way the next day, and it look awful. However, I was pleased with how it turned out. Jake hates taking pictures, but had such a good attitude about it, even though he had to get back into his suit, which is NOT his idea of fun:) He has to dress up every day for work and so any extra time in dress clothes is torture for him. In the pics where he’s lifting me up, he is whispering about how heavy I am and he really was having a hard time keeping me hoisted, meanwhile I’m threatening him to smile and look natural. So Tonya would tell us to try again and I would happily hop up and Jake would say, “this is the last time.” Luckily we got a couple good ones.
I am shocked that I was able to find a wedding dress this comfortable and one I liked so much. After searching through a ton of dress shops and finding nothing, ebay came through for me. Without breaking the bank. So do not give up hope when you are on the dress hunt. This actually is not even a wedding dress, but an evening gown. I am still so in love with it 2 years later!
