Baby Food for All of Us

I am very proud of myself right now. I not only got Knox (my 20 month old) to eat baby food again, but I also got my SUPER PICKY 3 year old to eat it as well!! Thank you Beech-Nut® Naturals for being something they deem worthy of letting of passing through their lips! #beechnutpartner Beech-Nut® Naturals is baby food made with real ingredients (you can pronounce everything they put in the jar,) and they cook it over indirect heat…so it doesn’t lose the flavor, color or nutrients in the food. Which I think is actually really cool!

Knox has decided she is an #infantfluencer and KNOWS what she does or doesn’t want. I held up the jar of ‘Just Pear and Blueberry’ and got a strong shake of her head. Held up the ‘Apple, Cinnamon and Granola’ and it was a major head nod! Your show girlfriend, even though I personally like the pear and blueberry one better. (Yes…I eat them too.)

Crew (the picky 3 year old) never ate baby food, or basically anything healthy for that matter. Well, yesterday I got some Beech-Nut® Naturals baby food to try for Knox, again. She loved the baby food when she was younger, and it has been the only brand of baby food we’ve bought for her! So Crew spots the jars of food and excitedly asks if she can feed Knox-of course I say yes….and she proceeds to feed Knox AND herself…the entire jar.

It was the first time in a long time, that fruit or veggies have passed through Crew’s lips. I love Beech-Nut® Naturals. You read about companies in the news, and they’ve found high amounts of lead, or harmful ingredients in their products…well not Beech-Nut®. They conduct over 20 rigorous tests on their purees, testing for up to 255 pesticides and heavy metals (like lead, cadmium, arsenic and other nasty stuff). That is important to me. I personally know people who have had their children SUPER SICK from high amounts of lead in their systems. Scary times we live in, where products you can grab right off the shelf, can be sooooo terrible for you. I don’t want that for my kiddos!

Another trick I tried which worked brilliantly, is mixing yogurt and Beech-Nut® Naturals together, putting them in popsicle molds, and freezing them. The girls loved it, and I ate one as well and it was very good! Sooo simple. My main goal was to get Knox eating these healthy little honey pot shaped jars of food. But Crew was a bonus and I couldn’t be happier!
